Hola, me llamo Vijay (Hello, my name is Vijay). はじめまして (It's nice to meet you)!
I’m a current master’s student at Manchester Metropolitan University, with a deep passion for marketing and the intricate ways human behavior shapes the world. I live by the mantra “Move fast and break things,” driven by the indomitable human spirit that finds solutions to every challenge.
In this season of life, I’m exploring holistic living while simultaneously enjoying the irony of nihilistic perspectives found in heavy metal music. Forever a student of life, I’m diving into an extensive reading list covering marketing, storytelling, user experience design, artificial intelligence, and habit building.
Outside of academics, I’m learning both Spanish and Japanese. Spanish helps me appreciate its vibrant music and telenovelas, while Japanese fuels my love for anime, haiku, and exploring the country’s rich history, music, and mythology.
My guiding principle is a deep desire to learn as much as I can—from history and economics to politics and classic literature. While I recognize that mastering everything may be impossible, my goal is to broaden my knowledge across diverse subjects. This helps me engage with people from all walks of life and build meaningful connections. Exploring a wide range of topics also allows me to draw insights from different fields, connecting ideas that might otherwise remain isolated within their own domains.
I’ve authored two research papers on AI in marketing, specifically focusing on AI-enabled customer journeys and the impact of AI on customer loyalty. I also enjoy writing about self-development, holistic living, and the craft of writing, and I hope to expand my knowledge into even more fields.
Now that you’re here, why not take a moment to check out some of my blogs?
